As the CEO and founder of PsyCoMeta, I lead a team dedicated to creating a metaverse-based platform for psychiatry, psychotherapy, and counseling. As an assistant professor of psychiatry, my research focuses on integrating virtual reality, extended reality, and AI into psychiatric education and treatment. Over the past five years, we’ve developed VR simulations for medical training and improving treatment outcomes, earning national recognition and awards. Our recent project for psychiatric consultation in the metaverse won a prize at Iran’s National Rehabilitation Festival in 2023, marking a significant step in expanding VR applications to the metaverse.

As a clinical psychologist I am currently the COO of the PsyCoMeta startup. My management
and communication skills, helped me successfully supervise, monitor, and coordinate the
activities of the team members in each stage. As my main focus is psychotherapy in the field of
family and marriage counseling I used my skills in advancement of virtual reality contents
related to this field to further develop it to the Metaverse. The belief that the Metaverse
platform is a suitable environment beneficial to those who do not have direct access to
psychotherapy and counselling services, kept me and my team motivated to pursue this goal.

As a psychiatrist and psychotherapist with a decade of experience, I specialize in using VR and XR for treatment and education. As the co-founder, CIO, and CMO of PsyCoMeta, I oversee medical aspects and lead the development of innovative psychiatric consultation and therapy in the Metaverse. My background in psychotherapy, including tele-therapy post-COVID-19, brings valuable insights to our team, ensuring effective and cutting-edge virtual treatment solutions.

As the CTO of PsyCoMeta and head of the Software Group at Birjand University of Medical Sciences, I have been leading the technical team since 2018. I specialize in developing VR content and advancing virtual and extended reality technologies. With a background in VR game development, I’ve directed technical efforts for projects aligning with PsyCoMeta’s goals, including transitioning to metaverse-based psychotherapy and consultation. My role involves managing the technical strategy, team coordination, and implementation of innovative technologies.

I am a senior expert in business management and a part-time lecturer at Imam Reza and
Shandiz universities in Mashhad, teaching business management courses. I am the CFO of
PsyCoMeta startup company. I have already revealed my strong abilities in marketing for small
bussinesses similar to PsyCoMeta with previous experience as the consultant for startup
companies in the Carvarium ecosystem in their growth and commercialization, which are active
in the field of programming, blockchain, and virtual reality.
